Arrow 8-lug rims 1998-2003

Hey, my B2500 has those 8-lug rims with LT225/75R16 tires.

My problem is, the rims are now soooo rusted out that no tire shop will put any new rubber on them.

SOOOOO, my question is, the Ram Trucks in the 2500 series have 8-lug steel rims. These can be picked up for an easy song any time on CraigsList because most Ram Truck owners upgrade to aftermarket rims.

I can get basically "new" rims with tires that have under 10K used on them from $350 to $600 depending on the seller and how far I would need to go in Nashville to get them. Some are the basic steel rim ($350) with tires and the other is chrome with the Ram center chrome hub ($600).

So, are those 8-lug rims a match for our Ram Vans?

I'm poking around the web too. I just thought maybe someone has done the rim switch-a-roo already.

BTW, I don't care if the rims are for 17-inch tires either. there is enough clearance in the wheel wells and my GPS works for the speed gauge.

Otherwise exact OEM Ram Van rims are nearly impossible to find around here. Aftermarket are soooo expensive.

Not sure about the trucks, but there is a junkyard (LKQ) that has a van with those rims here in Largo FL. I think they charge 40/wheel

car-part.com shows a lot of them here in Florida.

Also did you try this site?

Ram truck wheels fit as do Ford 8 lug van and truck wheels you SHOULD check the offset though to be sure nothing rubs.

Yes, the Ram Van has 0 (zero) offset and some of the Ram Trucks have -12 offset and 0 (zero) offset.

On Tirerack.com, the Ram Van is 16x8 and the Ram Truck is 16x8 OE. Also the Ram Truck has 17x8, 18, and 20 with other numbers and offsets.

Now, this CL ad has nice rims (no rust) and much tread life. This would work if they fit. The problem is, they are in another state. But, you get the idea.

These are nice and chromed, 8-lug with the large center hole opening like mine, BUT it's a set of 3! $165 with the tread is still a steal though.

Oh my! This was posted tonight just a town over!
Set of 4 $250. Not sure of the year nor offset.
