Thinking about buying a Ram E3500 Wagon

Hi there,
I would welcome all input regarding a van I looked at and am seriously considering...
it is a 1999 3500 with the 5.9 Liter V8. It has 235,000 miles on it.
The transmission was supposedly rebuilt, but no paperwork on that. It was like a youth group van. I need it to be road worthy for road trips and camping, maybe driving around town too 3-4 times a week.
Should I be concerned about the miles? There is no paperwork for maintenance.
I have not owned a Dodge since my 68 Valiant... (not even a Dodge, I know)
thanks in advance.

Mileage sounds reasonable for the year. You would be wise to have a mechanic give it a quick once over and don't forget to put the van on a lift and carefully check the under carriage for corrosion.
We have owned three B3500s and two B350s so I am biased but they were some of the best vehicles we have owned. In fact I still regret selling the 1989 15 pass the thing drove us all over the country and never let us down.
Good luck
