Default fuse 20 kept blowing: 1996 dodge b2500

The issue is in the wiring, I did remove the trail wiring, the vehicle came with a factory wire, did not it until yesterday, when removing the trailer wiring; did find some issues such as wrong connection, the brown wire was attached to the
B/Y wire, not brown wire to be found, this installation was done by YH long time ago. I did some search and found videos, writing material, I have the electrical diagram, but the short is getting hard to find, now I have a breaker and a jump wire. Did trace the wiring did not see any cut on them. The BRK/L worked until today. The lights are very bright; all the lights work with the jump wire and breaker.

I may have not read your post properly though if the trailer wiring is a issue have you considered wiring it yourself with a aftermarket kit.

I took the trailing wiring out, did find that my van has a factory wiring. The factory wiring check out good. I did ordered a new cable for the license plate plug, the previous bulb was out.
thank you

Do you still have a short in the wiring? Which circuit is it in? What is the purpose of the breaker and jumper wire? Are you saying that your brake lights do not work, not even the CENTER HIGH MOUNTED STOP LIGHTS?
