did ya get the thermostat out?

 

Yup. It was coated in rust. Then I destroyed the sensor directly to the left thinking it was the ect sensor, but my replacement is a little thinner, looks basically the same but with that minor difference. Do you know the difference between a sensor and sending unit/switch?
