My 99 3500 cargo came with TRW fob model/fcc #GQ43VT9T, could barely make it out but it looks like this one... scroll down for the details and what is required for programming etc. You also might try googling your receiver model # as well as the one I gave above to see what you can find.

Nothing fancy, lock/ unlock and the owners manual has simple instruction
for the horn to chirp or lights blink if you're into that sort of stuff.
There are other Fobs with more buttons n features but I wouldn't assume any other would match up to your receiver/unit, but maybe?

Buy a key fob on ebay but it has to match along with your trw model #.
I don't have the text file anymore, but google and look around for how to program it.
From what I remember when I did mine you have to put a paper clip and short two things on the data link connector.

Look to the top right at the "Featured sponsors" ad, ikeyless.com and plug in your make-year-model. the FOB is not all that expensive comes with instructions to program in the case that you lost your remote... I read it that you should be able to program it yourself w/o an existing FOB but you can call the company to be sure.
Even so won't cost you anything to call dealership or locksmith to find out how much to program the new one if necessary.
