YO! Need a little help here!! Transmission issues
Here goes. I just bought a 1992 Dodge B250 cargo van. It has the 5.2 L (318) with over drive tranny.
my problem is it don't shift correctly. It won't go into
2nd in the morning until it warms up. Then it shifts
Sometimes correctly and other times it shifts so hard I have to go to the chiropractor! Is this an indication of incorrect fluid? Fluid is clean, not burnt
Smells fine. Time for replacement? Band adjustment? I ain't no tranny mechanic by trade for shore! Any advice would be great!
