Can someone supply me with a link to a 4 core or 3 core rad that fits my 99 ram van 1500 5.9l

Would also like to know what's the largest fan i cam fit on said radiator.

I'm still having cooling issues. Basically, if i sit in traffic the van overheats.

Thx all.

Did you replace the fan shroud? that keeps all of the moving air within the area of the rad...
greater air movement means better cooling... shroud is important

try rockauto dot com ... that is where I got my replacement rad several years ago...

looked it up
VISTA-PRO 433961

it indicates it only has one row... but used it for 3 years pulling 5,000 # trailer in summer heat to FL... no overheating problems
although the A\C was broke so I did not add that load onto the rad

Thx rsdata, i did replace the shroud. It seemed to help a little bit but when it is 95+ out and i am stuck at lights it tends to overheat.

I'll talk to the folks at rock auto. The rad i have is a 2 row rad from summit racing. When i spoke to them they said they don't have anything listed as a 4 core, and they didn't seem to indicate they had a larger rad.

I think the fan is too small, but it is a 16" and I don't think they had a larger one. Would a dual push/pull fan be better? I also need to replace my thermostat, but i don't think that's the problem.

I'm almost tempted to go back to the stock fan with a new clutch.

Could my waterpump be the problem? I honestly didn't look for leaks from the pump when I was working. I also know my ac compressor may be bad. Just wondering how to go about elimimating possibilities.

Also noticed today that while parked and idling, when I rev the engine, the temperature goes down. Air pockets? Head gasket?
