Hi, I have a 1997 B3500 full size van, and every time I go for parts, they ask me if it has a 3600lb or 4000lb axle, and I have never been able to figure it out, I went to the local dodge/Chrysler dealership with my VIN in hand, and they looked up all my info on the computer, even they couldnt tell me, still no answer,, is there a way to tell one way or another?, If you have an idea, I would like to hear it,,, thanks,,, Take care,,,,,

 

there may be a white sticker under the hood on driver side with that info, or maybe a sticker on driver side door jamb

or call Dodge dealership with vin#
