Trouble with gauge cluster...
Hey forum!
This is my first post, but I expect there will be many more. I recently bought a 1990 Dodge Ram B250 conversion van. Right now, I'm trying to diagnose an issue I'm having with the gauge cluster. In short, it doesn't work! (Speedometer, odometer, and fuel gauge.) When I first bought the van, it was working about 10% of the time, but it seems to have truly bitten the dust.
I found a few posts on this forum and videos on youtube suggesting I open up the gauge cluster, and look for a small plastic gear behind the speedometer to see if there are teeth missing. I was able to remove the speedometer from the gauge cluster, and took it apart as much as I was able to. Eventually, I hit a wall when I was either going to have to remove the circuit board (pictured below) or somehow get behind the actual odometer (also pictured below.)
Any advice?? Really looking forward to being a part of the Dodge community.
