Default DIY CD Player Installation- Please help

Hey everyone,
So, I'm trying to install my brand new stereo into my brand old 1982 Dodge Ram camper van. I can't seem to find any wiring diagrams or how to go about doing this with such an old vehicle.
So I'm hoping that by posting a picture of my old stereo and some of its wiring someone can help me figure this thing out. I'm new at this so I'd love to hear any information you think I ought to know.
My new stereo is a DIN headunit by Kenwood KDC-BT420U.
Attached is a picture of my old stereo and its wiring.

Buying a Kenwood was a mistake. They were bought by JVC and aren't very good anymore. Had purchased a Kenwood for my van and been a problem with it freezing up. Have to disconnect power for it to reset and work again. Sent it in for warranty work and still happens.

What is the model of the old stereo? You could probably figure out what the wires are on it to wire in the new stereo. Some of your wiring is non-factory so it may take a volt meter to figure it out.

The duplex clear wires are likely your speaker wires.

One wire is power and the other ground. Two wires within the bundle are L and R front speakers and the other the antenna.

Currently am doing the same on my '96. I ordered everything I needed from Crutchfield. They are really good with making sure you have everything to properly install the equipment (they included wiring harness, diagrams and instructions, and install mount for free). I would check them out.
