I wish the update was a good one. Installed the new coil, along with a new wire from the coil and now the weak intermittent spark at the coil is even worse! I put the original wire on for giggles and can see some arching from the boot, I replaced the crank, cam sensor, snd ASD fuel pump combo relay, still no good blue/white spark from the coil. Plugs are wet. The CEL flash out still shows 12 then 55. I am starting to think this might be a wring or computer issue

Not wanting to be a parts replacer, I returned the coil, cam and crank sensor. With the either parts, the spark is the same, the part that confuses me is with old or new- except the coil wire no changes, with a new coil wire I see zero spark, but when I hook it up to the dizzy and pull a plug I see a pretty week spark what gives? If I hook up the old coil plug It will arch from the boot to ground, but still not a nice steady blue/white spark. Still flashing out 12 then 55 55. Just to see if the computer is alive I disconnected the crank sensor, and right away got a 12 11 55 55, so I am having a hard time condemning the computer. I am starting to think I should have let the other bidder take it. Any thought gents? Or ladies. Thanks for looking! Bratko

For anyone following here is an update: still no good spark at the coil. Backprobed the crank and cam sensor showing 8 v on the outside pins and about 5 on the center pins. Backbrobed the wiring to the coil the one labeled asd shows 12v with key to run then back to about 1v. Going to start voltage dropped off to about 9 and was steady until the key was released. The trigger wire showed a steady five ish. I tried wiring the asd side pin ( on the coil ) directly to bat 12v and left the trigger wire hooked up and nothing but a very intermittent orange spark a the coil. I think I am going to send my computer to SIA they quoted me $ 120 and a five day turnaround. Tomorrow before work I am going to try t pinning 19, grounding it out and and 12 v to pin seven before I send out the computer. If anyone has any other thoughts please chime in. Thanks in advance!

For anyone following wish I had a successful conclusion- far from it. I got the computer back from SIA, they indicated a few bad capacitors and a broken power trace. The tech said this could most definitely cause that weak intermittent spark. Installed it and no change, and now showing a 11 code, so swapped back the old oem crank sensor- still no consistent good spark and still showing the code 11. Back probed the CPS connector and the out side pins showed 8 and 5 volts repectivly. Waiting for o Riley to get me another crank sensor. I really doubt it’s a bad crank sensor, this will be the third one from o Riley’s I have tried. I am starting to think pick your parts might have some new inventor, it’s ashamed as the van is really clean and low miles. Any one out there with any input, I will report back after I get the new crank sensor. And install the new wires I bought, and throw in fresh oem plugs and re check compression. Thanks in advance

Little late now, but did you ever figure it out? i was having similar issue. swaped out fuel pump and she ran for a while then no starts fuel we was not holding despite pressure being fine. I have to wait 5minutes or so depends on the weather for the relay to go crazy and prime what i assume is the whole line again.

I recently (a year or so ago) had to replace computer on 2000 B1500 Magnum. No start, no nothing, had gas in the tank, etc. That solved the problem. Computer & install cost me about $700.

Silly question - have you checked your fuses?
