1998 Dodge B1500 Conversion / Front End Rebuild
Hey guys,
I have a 98 b1500 5.2L conversion 2wd auto that I'm rebuilding the front end on. I have a Chilton's (Chrysler Full Size Vans 89-98 Repair Manual).
It's omitted the torque specs for the Upper Control Arm to Frame Bolts (torkspec has it listed as 150ft-lbs).
It says the pivot bolts on the upper control should be torqued to 220 ft-lbs with the suspension loaded (can anyone confirm?)
And finally it states the upper control to knuckle ball joint nut should be torqued to 135 ft-lbs for 11/16 nut or 175ft-lb for 3/4" nuts (torkspec 160 ft-lbs)
I'm seeing some discrepancies witth the lower control arm values as well.
Should I trust the book, the website, or buy a new manual?
Thanks!
