P & N Good but R, D, 2 & 1 Cutoff Engine
This morning with neg. battery terminal off I disconnected power to the lift as I liked the lift out for storage hoping that would disable the interlock. I started in park and as before the shift to reverse stalled the engine so I lose my storage- no big deal. I connect the lift and battery back up and decide to give it one more try but now the engine won't start. Through all this there was never a start up problem and after hooking up OBDII reader there's no communication with engine, no guages working with "no bus" in the odometer. So I think all my original problems in this thread are fixed and now I'm going through the "no bus" threads on this forum.
i did notice when I disconnected my battery the female terminal was sort of cracked at the nut and bolt so even though clean I can't get it very tight until I replace it tomorrow but since the starter works it's prob. not the terminal and I'm on the "no bus" bus now without a van until fixed.
I thank both responders to my thread and apologize for the incomplete info not knowing about lift interlocking. One of you nailed the clogged CC and the other correctly said the CC would not cause stall at idle.
