Hi there,

I just purchased a 96 Dodge Ram Van 2500 Conversion with a Spare Tire on the back door of the van. I have been trying to remove the spare tire just in case I will need it someday but there is a lock on the bottom that requires a key. Does anyone know where this key would be located? Is there a specific spot it is kept or up to the owner to store it where they wish?

Most keep it in the glove box. The previous owner might have forgotten about it and still has it on another key ring of his.

 

i need the same exact thing same year same engine anybody ever answer you or did you get lock open
