I have a 1999 Dodge 1500 van that I use to transport my power wheelchair. My AC/Heater will only blows on high and only through the defroster and back vents. Theres no air that flows through the floor or vents that faces passengers. I would appreciate any ideas you have to offer.

 

Replace the blower motor resistor to fix the speeds. A loss of vacuum to the dash (vent/floor/defrost) selector switch results in only the defrost working since that is the default position of the air flow controls. From the passenger side of the intake manifold there is a vacuum line that runs to the vacuum reservoir behind the passenger headlight. Then from the reservoir another vacuum hose runs through the firewall to the selector switch. Inspect these vacuum lines and repair as necessary.
