I had a breakthrough this afternoon for making steel braided brake lines. The Right Stuff Detailing RSBB09 Brake Fitting is the same as the Y on the rear axle.
Dorman has the fitting sizes so that you can figure out what kind of fittings are on just about any vehicle. From there you find the fitting you are after (RSBB09) and order a brake line from HEL or others.
In my experience, the best way to go with this is to take the old brake lines to a good hydraulic hose shop, explain to them what you want and they'll use your fittings / ends. My local hose shop has done a fantastic job with this sort of thing as well as custom braided (and standard rubber) for everything from power steering, marine hydraulic steering stuff, oil cooler lines, ol pressure relocation set-up and especially braided brake lines... I'm currently running coated braided lines front and rear made by my favorite local shop on two corvettes (96 and 2000), my 95 ram 4wd pickup and my lifted 99 ram 4wd frankenvan (98 ram 2500 dana 60 truck axles with 8,800 gvrw front calipers, pads, oversized rear pistons)... The guys in the shop were especially helpful with the van as they made the length I wanted with the mixed fittings and angles I needed at both ends - it was something like $100 for all three lines if memory serves me and they've made them in a matter of hours every time...
