Default cylinder 3 misfiring p0303

So check engine light came on and I took it to a local store to scan it. Code read P0303 Cylinder 3 misfire. It seems to be intermittent when I kinda press hard on the gas pedal. I can feel it misfire.

I pulled the plug for cylinder 3. Pic is attached.

Is that carbon fouling? Is it running rich?

I picked up the vehicle a couple of years ago. I replaced the plugs and I think the wires as well. When I looked at cylinder 3 wire, it looked fine.

I'm going to do a compression test soon.

Any ideas why this is happening? What else might I check that doesn't require too much of a tear down?

Thanks

That gap looks rather large in the image, are you sure it's gapped correctly?

Kdodge, it is a 99 ram van 1500 with 110k. 5.9l v8.

Alloro, the plugs were installed by a mechanic, but I can check them once I find the specs.

Here is another pic of all my plugs. You can see the cylinder 3 plug (where my finger is) is the only one that is dark. Weird thing is, cylinder 2 (top right) looks like it has some water damage with the rust showing, but whatever.

Thanks all. Could the issue lie in my injectors or fuel rail? But wouldn't an injector issue make it run lean not rich? I dunno just throwing stuff out at this point. I couldn't do a compression test since my tester wouldn't fit. So, i'm kinda stuck right now. Lemme check the gap.

Thanks again

So gaps were fine. I replaced the plugs and will be test driving it soon. Crazy thing is I noticed a leak at my exhaust manifold. Wonderful.
