1987 b150 fuel pump relay location

Unhappy 1987 b150 fuel pump relay location

I want to do an engine compression test but i'm not able to figure where's the fuel pump relay location.

Any schema or picture ?

I think in 87 they used a dual relay mounted on the firewall, one side was for the fuel pump and the second is the ASD relay. If there isn't the duel relays then yours uses the one ASD relay as the fuel pump relay too. If you're looking to keep the engine from starting, just disconnect the two small wires from the ignition coil.

Do you have fuel injection? I thought 1987 was the last year for the mechanical pump on the engine. I would think unplugging the harness from the brain box would keep it from starting.

Yup 87 would be carbureted. No fuel pump relay needed for a mechanical fuel pump. I miss carburetors and simplicity. My next truck will be another Dodge and will be carbureted. Injection is fine til it breaks. Been thru so damn much expense and headache chasing fuel injection issues. I'm tired of it.
