Default 1997 b2500 front window replacement

Anyone have a "how to" for replacing the front door glass in a 97 B2500 full size Dodge van?
I can't seem to get the window into the tracks. The glass is correct, but just short of cutting the door apart, I dn't know how to get the glass back into the door frame and in the tracks. No matter how I wiggle it, it just doesn't fit back in.
This is the model with the small triangular glass section in the front of the door frame. Not a wing window, but a stationary section of glass.

Im pretty sure you have to take the vent window out, put the main window in and then reinstall the vent window
I don't know if that is how a 97 is since I have a late model van but the old Chevys I have worked on, that is what I had to do.

Yup, gotta take little window out

done that job many times!

should be an adjustment nut on the bottom of the door for the little pillar if not, then it’s inside the door

your going this far you can do an upgrade, go to the bone yard and get the vent windows off of any older van back to 1979; they all will fit!!

i know, my 1979 trans van has 1997 doors on it, so now I got power windows, door locks, mirrors and wired in factory keyless entry!!

i replaced the solid little windows with the vent windows!!

Oh and I think I actualy did one by removing the glass runs on front and back of the window Chanel which gave me enough room to sneak the window in then fed the glass runs back in from the top. It was a pain in the butt but it worked
