Hi I知 trying to figure out the location of the Crankshaft position sensor on my 2000 Dodge Ram Van 1500 5.2L. I知 new at DIY repairs, so if you know where this is/ know if it痴 easy to get to, please explain like I知 5.

Remove the dog house motor cover. Looking from inside the van dead center reach your right hand straight out where the motor and transmission are bolted together. You will see a wire running right down between the two through a rubber grommet. Undo the bolt and grab the bracket and lift up and work it out. The wire runs across toward the drivers side. to a disconnect.
