Engine goes off on bumps / gear indicator light dissapear
Hi from Poland 
!
The engine of our 2002 Dodge Ram Van (5.2L V8 OHV 16V) goes off while driving over bumps, then when I change from "D" to "P" and turn a key the light indicator around "P" goes off and the engine won't start. After few tries the light around "P" comes back and the engine goes on ok.
Do you have any idea what may be a reason?

Remove and inspect all of the fuse and relay contacts in the fuse box under the hood first. Do the same for the 3 big connectors on the PCM under the hood up top. You may want to put an anticorrosive grease on the terminals at the same time.
Next I would checkall body to engine grounds for good connections.
