Hi all, brand new to the forum and hoping y'all can help me. I have a '97 Ram Van B2500 Conversion that I removed one of the rear barn-door windows from to haul crown moulding - unscrewed the latching mechanism and lifted the window out. Before when I've done it I've had problems with it binding on reinstall and not closing the whole way, until after fiddling around for 15 min. or so it would somehow miraculously seat itself and close properly, but now it just keeps binding. Is there a technique I should know about, or does anyone know how to get it back in? My Haynes manual says nothing on it, the local Dodge dealer won't give me the time of day, likewise two body shops and a glass shop. It seems like it should just hinge on the track. Thanks in advance for your help.

 

Maybe there's something caught in the track... can you try spraying the track with lube and tapping in the window from the side?

 

Thanks anyway. I wound up taking it to a body shop, who had to take the whole window apart and reinstall it.
