1990 Ram 3500 Ambulance Brake pedal fade
Well, Now I feel silly...
I went to another fella that was recommended to me by my accountant and quickly went over the system from end to end.
When the last mechanic adjusted the rear brakes they were left far to loose.
The new guy went over the system and found that there was too much slack in the rear shoes to drum.
He put 2x wheel nuts on the drums to hold them in line and pumping the pedal between adjustments to re center the shoes , snugged them up to the point of lightly dragging and problem solved...
It had to be something simple that was overlooked and sure enough...
The rears were out of adjustment...
Thank's again to all that pitched in trying to figure this mess out..
Am all good now...
May you and yours remain safe and well through this pandemic.

The sinking brake pedal was a red herring. You now have a good mechanic to go to. Brakes are my forte' and I usually check things like adjustments. However, it's like welding or front end work, you have to have a knack for it.
