New Steering gear box? Good brand?
I have to replace the steering gear box on my 1997 B3500, prices are all over from about $200 for ultra cheap and probably crap to $800 from higher end companies. I don't want to have to replace it again in 6 months, and yet I don't think I need to spend $800 for a basic American van gear box. Anybody have good advice on a middle of the road (pun intended) steering gear box that is good quality but won't break the bank? Any info greatly appreciated.

RedHead - works great . It has been in there six months. My mechanic says it drives like new and it certainly feels like it.
I also swapped the idler arms and pitman arm at the same time. I can drive with one hand now
