Heat/AC Only Blowing Through Vents on Max AC Setting
Hi.
New here.
We have a recently purchased 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 Van and the heat/ac are both working as blower and temp controls work fine. Problem is vents only work on Max AC setting.
Guessing that switch/controller is bad. Anyone happen to have a part number or link to replacement?

A loss of vacuum to the HVAC system causes the airflow to default to the defroster position. Since the air is coming out of the vents and not the defrost, either a vacuum actuator or the air flow selector switch is likely bad.
