Default 97 1500 VAN SHUTTING OFF

MY 1997 RAM 1500 VAN WILL IDLE SOMETIMES AND SHUTS DOWN OFTEN.
IS THERE A SENSOR THAT COULD BE CAUSING THIS?

What engine do you have? Any check engine lights, or does it come to a rough idle before it dies?

Could be a bad crankshaft position sensor.

Mine was a combination of the Fuel Pump Relay (fuse) located in the IP by the driver's door entrance and really bad spark plugs that nearly had no electrodes left to them. I also replace the cap-n-rotor too. This stopped all of the bad starting and stalling issues.
