Default Brake light not working everything else is even turn signal

Need help to troubleshoot this please
It's a 1990 ram van b350 extended 5.9l

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Answer: To jump the brake light switch, you'd first locate the switch near the top of the brake pedal assembly and then short the two wires connected to the switch. With the wires (temporarily) shorted, the brake lights should illuminate. If not, then your problem is not likely to be the switch, but something else.
