Unhappy Headlight Lens

Hello everyone! I have a 1996 dodge B3500 van conversion. I'm replacing the old headlights lens' and I cannot find a video on Youtube how to do this, only ram trucks. Please, does anyone have the experience and knowledge on how do remove and replace the headlight lens'? I would be so grateful for step by step instructions. Thank you in advance.

There are 2 brackets at the top of both units that lift up to release the headlight which pulls straight out once those brackets are lifted. Should be real easy.

I looked at the headlights on Ebay (Yeesh! They are proud of those things!) It looks like you need to remove the grill of the van then some bolts. Once you figure it out, maybe make a video yourself. I did that on a 2000 Cadillac Escalade once and got a lot of folks thanking me. If you're removing the lens only, it's an assembly. You replace the whole thing.

All those units you see for sale have the panel behind them included and would require alot of work to install them. You can't buy just the headlight for some reason and the headlight by itself is real easy to remove and replace as mentioned above.

Some people prefer to do the work themselves and others can't afford a mechanic.

The lenes just slide right into the bracket...

I just swapped the lens...when you buy them, they give you the lens and bracket...on the bracket there is a slide lever--it looks like a old slider door lock...just pull it up IIRC, and then the lens comes right out...
I remember I was able to get to the levers on the van...it literally took 10 minutes to swap both out...
If you need pix;...lemme know

A picture would be wonderful, thank you so much. I'm doing as much of the work on this old van, it's coming along so she'll be road worthy.

I'm only having the mechanic do mechanical things. I'm doing what I can, bodywork wise.
