1999 1500van water pump

Default 1999 1500van water pump

Having a problem getting the bypass hose off of the water pump.The water pump itself is already hanging off the only thing holding it is the bypass hose.Any tricks/tools for diy please let me now

Did you take the compressor and alternator off as well?

no i didnt,thought u could get to the bypass hose without taking the bracket off,guess I was wrong huh

Its possible but difficult, Your best bet would be to remove those brackets, that way you can verify the hose clamp goes back on right

ok thanks,it seems like the bypass hose is ,melted onto the stem,which makes it next to impossible to remove,just not enough room to get leverage on it.Good time to replace all the hoses,Thanks
