Default Am I posting this in the right forum?

I have this van I am thinking about either selling or repairing. Any advice on it would be great. Current problems transmission "knocks" into gear when shifting (auto. trans) Another area that needs some attention is the charging part. I replaced the alternator a few months back and the battery too. I think I may have gotten the wrong alternator though. It never stopped charging the battery eventually over charging the battery to an almost melting point. Since then it has sat in my driveway. Its been about 3 months now. If this is not posted in the right forum plase let me know. This was the first forum I found for my van. So if you have some other links please post them too.

Thanks,
Phil

I guess the pictures are too big to embed in the posting?

can someone help me posting the pictures?

This van needs a lot of TLC to even get it looking well before getting it to run well too. The van looks really worn with age. With gas prices being high, I would either sell this for a thousand or slowly put in the time and effort getting things fixed to enjoy the vehicle.

You used the wrong format to embed the picture....

[/IMG] http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f3...1/DSC01087.jpg [/IMG]

That is not the correct code. You should have used You also cant have spaces between the brackets. It should look like this

You would then get this.....

For future knowledge, you have two options....you can create your own Photo Gallery so that people can view your pictures whenever....or you can use the IMAGE button when you go to post/reply any posts. It's just under the last row of smiley faces at the top of the post inbetween LIST and CODE. This will put the [IMG][/IMG] on the page for you, and you can just paste or type the weblink in between the two.

By the way, welcome to DodgeForum!

OK so bottom line is this. I have $$ to fix it to get it running. I dont have much time to do this. I am more of a VW person. I am partial to actually using this van for overnite trips an to haul my 4 wheeler around with too. Anyone local to me wanna help?? LoL Interior is pretty decent. i would give it an strong 7.5 to 8.0 out of 10. It of course has the fold out bed, ice chest an table. The lights all work along with about 5 cig. lighters. God bless the auto industry for that! Are there any other Dodge forums I can post this in too? Someone make my mind up for me. I guess I could also ask someone to trade something for it too? Anyone got some suggestions?
