I need some information on how to remove an ignition switch from the steering column in a 1987 Dodge Ram 3/4 ton Van. I have losened the switch, but there is a metal peice in the center of the steering column preventing the switch from either: being taken out of the side of the column, or being pushed in to the column far enough to remove it. If anyone can point me in the right direction of other posts, diagrams, directions, or schematics that may provide any assistance, I would be very grateful. Thanks, Dan.
