Default no high beams

I've lost my high beams, have replaced the dimmer switch, headlight switch, and bulbs themselves. Still dark, also, the high beam light on the dash doesn't come on. All other elec. ok. Any suggestions??? It's a 98 1500 Regency Conversion. 383 cu. in.
Help!

If you are not seing the dash highbeam marker, have you checked for power at the H/L switch? the best thing to do is to trace it out. it goes from the fuse to the headlam switch, to the H/L switch and then either to a relay or to the headlights direct.

things dont usually just break...have you been changing anything recently?

Thanks for the input, I finally traced the wires, and there was a short where the battery had boiled over on it. Thanks again
