hemi into 200 dodge ram 2500 van?
okay, here's the deal. i own a 2000 ram 2500 van. the motor has little to no compression in cylinder #5.
so i've been thinking about it lately and has anyone ever swapped a hemi into a ram 2500 van?
it already has the 5.9 v8 in it but i have no idea of the motor mounts or electrical wiring will all go together. any help or ideas would be appreciated. i need more pep into my partybus.

To drop in a 5.7L Hemi would be costly. First, you would need a doner vehicle and work many hours to transfer nearly everything over. ie: Engine, Tranny, PCM/ECM, fuses and the like.
You will not see much of a difference between the 5.7L Hemi and the 5.9L/360cid in the full size Ram Van. Getting another 5.9L and adding a few mods will be a better winner for you.
There are people out there that have swapped out the 5.2L or 5.9L gas Magnum engine for a 5.9L Cummins diesel. That's less work since the diesel is offered in the 2500 truck version for the 2000 model year vs. the 5.7L Hemi.
You will need to compare the advantages, costs, and effort of time into the equation.
On some of the Ram truck forums, you'll be surprised to see how much a 5.9L/360cid Magnum engine can be pushed for performance.
