i recently bought a 95 dodge ram 1500 van v6 and the damn thing wont start, when it was running when i gave it gas it feat like it would take a second to pick up, ive changed the fuses and still no luck, my next guess is the fuel fiter or pump. however before i go paying for it to be replaced, i wanted to know if it was possible itwas some other problem, i noticed teh ceiling lights and oil lght flicker on and off when its being driven. also how do i go about taking down the tank myself, how would i drain it properlly. any information is greatly appreciated

 

The best place to start would be an inexpensive manual that will be available at a parts store. The Haynes book is #30065 I believe, is a great place to start. If you find you need more information then you may want to pick up a chiltons book, or the service manual from Dodge.

I've only ever needed the Hayes.
