Level out front to back height on 2wd?
I'd like to take my 04 1500 2wd and level out the front and back ends. I'd also prefer to bring the front end up rather than lower the rear end.
My cargo is usually only a couple hundred pounds or less but too large for a car and only a few times per week.
So what would be a cost effective solution to bring the front end up a 3 to 4 inches? My first thought was traditional air shocks but I've never used them in the front and don't even know if it would fit/work.
Idea's?

I went to a local after market truck modification place when i was shopping for my truck and I told then i wanted to level my ride, they did a fairl extensive search and came up with no readily available kits to level the vehicle... I told them that their rivals down the street said something about switching out shackles and they said that they could do that no problem they just needed 24 hours to oredr in the parts.
in other words it is apparentle easy to lower the rear end and hard to raise the front.
On a side not the third place i took the truck 9I like to shop around) said that the rear end could not be lowered with a new shackle because the new body dodges had an inverted design on the shackle and so the old kits would not fit...
so there you have it.
