I ended up buying something other than the 2001 1500 4x4 5.9L (gas) dodge ram I was looking at.

I bought a 2002 durango with a 5.9 (26,000 miles for $16000), so I'll be moving over to that part of the forums (until I get me a ram 1500 4x4 in a couple months).
