Default Need help with my lights!!!!

There should be a backup switch located somewhere along the shift linkage. I don't know if its inside the cab or on the transmission (you did not say year/model/etc.) When this switch wears or fails, the backup lights will no longer work. Could be your problem.

yeah....that sounds like the problem. i belive its mounted on the topish side of the trans. the same thing happened to my buddies '75 blazer with a 4 speed and he had to replace the whole length of wire.</P>
