3500 to 1500 rear axle swap

will a 3500 axel swap into my 01 1500? The 3500 came from a diesel single wheel

measure the center to center on the spring perches.
you will have 8 lug hubs instead of 5 lug

also as long as the 3500 axel is a dana axel then it will. . .AAM axels may take a little modifications.
