Default Quick advice...

Hey guys first off let me say sorry for not reading throuhg forums and just throwing a post up. Yet I am kinda pressed for time. I currently have a 2005 Ford f150 xlt 4x4 5.4 v8. I was going to be trading it in tomorrow for a 2007 Ford f150 lariat 4x4 5.4. I have just had some problems with my ford like usualy for a ford. I just staying with them cause thats what I know and I really like the interior of the lariats. So question in can anyone give me any known issues if any with these new lines of ram's 2007 and up. I was interested in that new drive system they had where it goes from 4-8 cylinders depending on the need for better gas mileage. Was wondering if there are any issues with that system or if people like it or hate it. Anything would help I would really like to get a dodge cause my dads has bought one his last three trucks. So I know they are probably better than Ford, I have just never been a big fan of the insides or the front grille. Anyway thank you in advance and again sorry for just throwing this up here.

Joe

The main complante on the MDS system come from guys who put a set of pipes on them. They don't like the change in sound when it switches to 4 cyls.

If you get a 07 Hemi it dosnt make noises from the MDS. I have an 07 with exhaust and I cant even imagine the sounds that have been discribed.
