Default charging problems

I have a 94 Ram 1500 and something is killing my battery. I replaced the alternator and battery. I have to charge it to start it if setting over night. When i have the heater and lights on the voltage gauge drops down to around 8 or 10. Turn everything off it goes back up to around 15 or so. I have checked and double checked to make sure nothing is left on. But now i am out of ideas of what it could be. Need help please.

Get youre hands on a volt meter , while the engine is running , check the voltage at the battery, and the alternator, if the alt is putting out around 14 + or - but the batter isnt showing that , then the battery may be bad even tho new.make sure the neg is attatched good at both ends same with positive. If that doesnt help try getting it checked out at ur local autoparts store , they may have an amp probe to see if its drawing , while everything is off . hope this helps , </P>
