I don't suggest "prying" the badges or emblems off. You can use a heat gun to soften the tape, usually just direct sunlight works, and then use dental floss, or monofilament (fishing line) to cut and separate the emblem from the body.
You can purchase a glue residue eraser from an auto body supply (maybe even a local parts store) to remove the residual stick stuff. Just make sure you don't spin them too fast.

The way I did mine was to get goo gone and soak the hell out of the emblems. Then I used a fingernail to lift as the tape got soft. Then used a small piece of wood to brace the emblem up as I continued to soak.

I used a heat gun carefully and then some Goo Gone... Several years later I repainted the entire truck... Hahaha!!

Paid my local bodyshop $20 to strip everything. Well worth it since I've peeled them myself in the past. It can be a pain. If you use a heat gun, watch so the paint doesn't bubble.
