Hi, I just purchased my 2007 Dodge Quad Cab truck a week ago. I bought a radar decectorand want to install itinmy new pickup. Normally you plug them into the lighter socket, butI have it pluggedinto the fuse box onmy old pickup. I was trying to do the same thing with this one. Any suggestions on where I can get the 12v without having to go all the way to the fuse box which is under the hood?

 

Just pop off the plastic around the radio and use the wire that powers the cig lighter, that is what i did on my buddys ram its real easy.

I was looking at the plastic around the radio at lunch time. Do you have to take out the 2 screws at the bottom by the cup holder?
