Hello,
Is there anyone who can tell me how to remove my factory CD player? I have a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab with factory single disc CD player with CD changer controls. I just purchased a 6 disc changer that will replace the old unit.
How do I get the old unit out from the dash?

It's been a while, but if I recall correctlythe center fascia simply snaps on, save for one screw at the hook on the passenger side. Unscrew, pry loose and remove the two bolts holding it in. The wiring harness simply snaps in the back. Should take 3-5 minutes, tops.

I am waiting for the 6 disc changer to arrive in the mail. I will then post a reply if it worked.

PS- Does anyone know why no one is putting out a superchip for the 4.7 V8 Dodge Ram? Everything is for the 6 Cyl. and the Diesel motors.
