Default heater doesn't work

3.9 V6.....Just changed my water pump.....while I was in there, I replaced hoses etc.....now my heater work. The blower works, but the air isn't hot. How should I troubleshoot this?

Thanks!

Thanks for the reples.....got it to work now. Just manually engaged/disengaged the control valve a few times, and now I have hot air if I ever actually need it here in West Texas.....there's an abundance of that! Guess it was just sticking.

Thanks again!

if you replaced the water pump and the heater no worky, then you gone and screwed it up bad!

1 = check that ALL wire harness are plugged in
2 = is the heater bypassed from before pump change
3 = is heater core clogged
4 = back flush coolin system properly.
