Ok i just bought an '02 Ram 1500 V8 single cab and i really need help on figuring out wat to do to it... because im not sure weather or not i should get a lift kit on this one or not? but please reply back!!!

It's not the wrong section...this is in "Dodge Ram" generic. It might help his cause to go to the 3rd gen section, but he isn't wrong.

 

Is it a 3rd gen truck? Or is it still a 2nd gen? Not that that matters for selecting a lift. First question would be what do you intend to do. Do you need a lift? Are you looking to use the lift (4 wheelin) or just for looks. either way you have to ask yourself, do i want to spend the money on a lift, or do i want to put other mods in. I would say lift it. I like the looks of a lifted truck as well as most others do. But since they can get pricy, you could spend the money on other items of interest. Just my 2 cents.

 

02 is first yearfor 3rd gen

 

yes, but early 02' is still 2nd gen...am i wrong, its the same body style as 2nd gen. And, later 02' is the 3rd gen cause it has the new body style. Feel free to set me straight if im wrong, thats just the impression that i was under.
