I have an '85 W350 with Loadflight and NP208 transfer case, and my 360 is just plain tired. I only drive the truck a few hundred miles per year, so a re-build or remanufactured engine is pretty silly.</P>


Can anyone tell me about compatibility with car versions of this engine, and if the car automatic tranny is also a loadflight, and will it bolt to my NP208? My transmission is only slightly less tired than my engine.</P>


I can probably find a similar vintage passenger car for a few hundred dollars, since most folks around here consider an '85 to be a pretty new car...</P>
