Hey guys, i was just wondering what exhaust would be wise for me to get for my Dodge Ram. Midas told me they would install everything, muffler, tip, plus labor for $200. <----- Is that a good deal? Another place said i should go with Dynaflow exhaust, but i was considering a Flowmaster 50 Series Delta Flow. Im not sure which is better for the truck, if anyone out there can give me some insight bout what i should i do, i would greatly appreciate it!

 

Hey man ... I went with the Flowmaster 40 Series and I am VERY happy with it. I originally thought it would be too loud, but it turned out to be just right. Not too loud or obnoxious at all and very little to no drone. You get a little drone at about 1500RPM but only for a second. It is quiet and pleasent at highway speeds but gives a good rumble if you go WOT. $200 is a little high (I think) ... I did mine myself and I have to say it was very easy. It only took me 2 hours. Now I happened to have access to a welder and someone that knew a little bit about welding, but even if you dont, just clamp it up and take it to Midas and just have them weld it. Shouldn't be more than like $50-60 for them to just weld it.
