A/C blows hot sometimes...??
Something strange is going on with our 1999 Dodge (Quad Cab, Automatic, 5.9L, SLT Laramie).
Every once in awhile the a/c will blow HOT for a short period of time. Sometimes it comes back cold by itself, and other times, I have to turn the temerature **** from cold to hot, back to cold. When this doesn't work, I have to turn the truck off and then back on. (thought it was happening when I braked hard, but when I triy to duplicate it, it does not recur - just occurs randomly)
When the a/c is blowing cold, the temperature of the air coming out is approx 40 degrees F and when it starts blowing hot, the temperature of the air coming out of the vents is approx 145 degrees F.
Any ideas for me to correct?

My 06 does it after along hard run on the interstate at the first red light.
I believe it has to do with the intercooler being still hot and trasfering heat to the back side of the condensor when stopped.
