i use it for my cell phoen charger so its not in the way out in the dash.

I guess the only real problem would be the wiper blades, but i live in New Mexico so i dont really have to worry about rain that often.

I have a 2004 and the cheesiest think on it is the POORLY engineered front cup holders. It just won't stay on its upright position![:'(]
