drag racing suspension help
well assuming then its a leaf style suspension the best way to start is with a good set of slicks and doing a locker in the rear end along with a set of gears, play with tire pressure a bit - without knowing what track you are running at or the weather conditions I wouldnt know where to start with for tire pressure - I would say around 12-15 PSI in the tires and go from there.
also look at a good set of shocks, something with adjustable dampening would be ideal Koni makes a great set but you need to make sure you find the correct ones for the proper stroke length for the application.
thats just working with the leaf spring rear end - if you can find some a set of traction bars those would work well but i dont think anyone markets them for your application - you could possibly make your own if you are handy at welding with some square tubing stock, plate steel, polyurethane bump stops, and longer "U" style bolts where your axle attaches to the leafs, Lakewood makes great trac-bars/lift bars that you could probably get an idea of how to make your own by looking at the way theirs is designed
